Please add Open Badges to the list of supported products on SUMO, no AAQ for now.

We need from the Badges team:

* High resolution logo to show on retina screens
* Usernames for Reviewers
* A List of topics that articles will be assigned to.

Chris, we need a List of topics that articles will be assigned to and SUMO usernames of reviewers, so we can set you up and you can start moving articles over. Also, a high res version of the badges logo would be nice.
Hey Kadir, I'm working with @meg on list of topics.

Username wise, just to make sure, these are the folks that will be adding the content from our side right?
That's right Sunny. Just let me know who you'd like that to be and we can set them up.
Thanks for providing the names. I should have been more clear though: I'd need their usernames on SUMO. Once you/they've signed up on SUMO, I can add them to the relevant group.
Ok this is going to sound stupid, how does one sign up on SUMO?
Please disregard. Will have everyone register and provide you with usernames: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/users/register
@Andrew, actually this is not a dupe of 944916 IMHO.

I think 944916 wants SUMO badges to be listed on openbadges.org. This bug is addressing that we want open badges be apart of SUMO much like webmaker here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/webmaker

Let me know if I'm misunderstanding.
You're right Sunny. My bad.
All good.
Hi, @Sunny,

I'm the new content manager at SUMO. Jade reached out to us a couple of weeks ago about adding Open Badges, but I wasn't aware at the time that this bug existed.

We've already added Open Badges as a category on SUMO along with a single topic ("Learn the Basics"), but it won't visible on the website until at least one article has been added. Let me know if I can help with the IA or anything else.

Joni
@Joni, Jade is the best person to connect with regarding the latest articles but I can't seem to be able to add her to this thread. Any suggestions?

@Sunny, there's an edit link above the "CC list" on the top right corner of this page. I tried to add Jade myself, but I got an error message her email address could not be found. Does she have a Bugzilla account yet?
@Joni, pinged Jade, she signed up so I was able to add her to the bug list.

@Jade, take a look at the above comment from Joni. I think you're best equipped to respond. Thanks!
Thanks Sunny :)

@Joni, sent you an email.

It's correct.
Jade is now adding Open Badges articles.

Kadir, is there anything else we need to do on the dashboard/tools side?
Why are those articles being added to the Canned Responses category? https://support.mozilla.org/kb/category/70 is used for common forum responses on the support forum.
To add to my above comment: Not all of the pending articles are under the Canned Responses category. Others were added to the "How to" category.

Joni, as far as I can tell they are live already, so we should be good. If the want a support forum though, we'd need to set that up first.

Alice, I'm sure those were misunderstandings.

The Open Badges product page at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/open-badges links to the "Get community support" article, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/get-community-support

There's a revision pending to the "Get community support" article to add Open Badges as one of the products you can ask a question about ... but there's no Open Badges AAQ forum set up yet.
I'll remove the community support link from the product page. We can add it back if we decide to include this in the support forum.
Never mind, I don't actually see the option to remove the link from the page. Kadir, is there something we can do?
Hmm, I'm pretty sure the community support topic is hard coded to be the 6th item. Ricky, can you comment on that?

Moving 2013Q4 bugs to the Future since we didnt care enough about them in 2014Q1.
Target Milestone: 2013Q4 → Future

Correct. We'll need to do some sort of special case here. File bug?

Jade, I'm assuming it still holds that you don't want to use the support forums on SUMO for now, right?

Also, in case you don't want to go with a forum hosted on SUMO, is there some other place you'd like to link to for people who want to ask questions?
Hi all,

Sorry for the delay. No, we don't think we'll need the SUMO support forum (unless it's too much of a pain to remove it, esp. if it's hard coded.)

Much of the information for places people go to for help or support are currently under 'Get Involved' - I'll create articles there and in 'Intro to OB' that link to that info. for support.

Done.
Hey guys,

Couple things:
- the bottom of the OB logo is cut off here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/home
- and also here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/open-badges

Also, we were wondering if it would be possible to take that image and use it for the Intro and Get Involved tabs, at the appropriate size? That's our newer logo so if possible we'd like that one on the small tabs too.

One last thing about community support - I didn't see an OB option on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new but wasn't sure if there was supposed to be one yet / where we're at with removing the Community Support tab from OB.

Also, just a little thing unrelated to OB, the wording on this page needs tweaking: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/other ("is" needs cutting)

Let me know if you need anything else from me.

Cheers,
Jade

Hi Jade,

Sorry about the cut-off logo. I've fixed it on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/home and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/open-badges. I've also swapped the "Intro to..." and "Get Involved" logos for the same one.

Based on our previous conversations, I don't think there were plans to set up a community support forum for OB. Did you need one after all?
Flags: needinfo?(a.topal) → needinfo?(jade)
No we don't need the community support forum, thanks Joni!

I think we are all set here. Otherwise, feel free to reopen.
