Open Badges is a growing open-source initiatve that is in need of branding help. With the upcoming launch of numerous properties, detailed below, we are looking for help in further defining our brand, including logos and website design.

Our web properties in include:

    OpenBadges.org (existing - and includes badgekit.openbadges.org, community.openbadges.org and blog.openbadges.org) 
    Badgekit.org (new) - this will be a site where users can actually access the tools.

illustrator file and it would be great to see the entire brand family in a style sheet of some sort. 

We need logos for:
Mozilla OpenBadges (revised - as per Brand unification color conversations)
Mozilla OpenBadges community 
BadgeKit

    openbadges (as seen on openbadges.org)

    badgekit (as seen on badgekit.openbadges.org)

    badgekit {nightly} (we dont have a name for this yet)

I've updated the Open Badges logo to reflect our standard design palette. Please have a look at the mockup here: http://cl.ly/image/2G2i2t1t3R0t/o

- soft gradients in the interior lines
- solid color version similar to current logo
- updated wordmark to Mozilla Charcoal

These are simply suggested updates, if yoou're not comfortable with the soft gradient additions, we can stick to solid color logos. Just wanted to see how we could add some of that softness we spoke of in Project Chameleon.

I notice the Creative Due date is the end of the month, but launch was the 16th. I'm assuming this is something that will be updated post-launch?
Hey Sean!

I really like the treatment that you gave this logo. It feels a bit more dynamic. The gradient does add a level of softness, but I also like having the fall back solids. 

We pushed back the launch date on this and BadgeKit a bit. Are you able to send me the files so that I can see how this looks in context?

Test them out as needed, and if all seems good, we can finalize I can slice up a package.
