On the Nexus S target, the USB charging circuit is controlled over the i2c bus. The way we're going to control USB charging from userspace is to use the i2c-tools to talk on the i2c bus directly. This bug is for getting the i2c-tools into b2g builds.
I've got the i2c-tools building and included in the nexus-s system image. Here's some interesting preliminary results. This is not the solution. As you can see, from userland, the USB charging circuit shows up as UU which means it is under direct kernel driver control and cannot be changed from userland. This is disappointing as it means I'm back to modifying the kernel driver to get this to work. Ugh.
