I used to be able to add a bookmark (a lovingly created and curated bookmark) to a home screen. I can't any more. The alternative, to navigate to a URL and then add it to the home screen, is fairly poor in comparison. Let me explain the use case for directly adding bookmarks: On a mobile device, a screen full of quick links is incredibly useful. But, I want to make sure I'm clicking on the right link, so the label is of the utmost importance. So if I'm stuck with the URL title (as I am now), I might get Weather Corp (TM) Weather - /place 1/ Saturday weather Weather Corp (TM) Weather - /place 2/ Saturday weather etc. which get truncated on the home screen in a really unhelpful way (and are wrong for 6 days of the week).
