Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:0.9.2) Gecko/20010628 BuildID: 0.9.3 talkback After installing 0.9.3 and specifying the quick launch option, windows startup is much slower than with 0.9.2 plus quick launch. Also, with the quick-launched browser running (but no open windows) CPU usage will sometimes go up to 100% for about 30 seconds at a time. Uninstalling and replacing with 0.9.2 cures this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Rebooting the PC doesn't cure the problem. Haven't tried deleting and reinstalling 0.9.3 Internet connection is through a firewall on LAN. Real time anti-virus software (Norton) also running on PC.
A bit more investigation reveals that this is probably a problem with our network. It just happened to start when I upgraded to 0.9.3

Are you running this over some filesharing? That is odd.
