since bug 907660 landed, there is a deactivation log for user accounts. it would come handy if the nickname of the deactivated user linked to his/her profile.

I agree. The description for bug 907660 starts with,
"User Story: As a forum moderator I want to know when and by whom an account
is being deactivated so I can check whether I agree with a decision."

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/users/deactivation_log doesn't link to the deactivated user account so it makes it harder for anyone reviewing the log to check whether they agree with the decision.
