From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.72 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.1) Gecko/20010607 BuildID: ver.0.9.3 When I start the browses, only splash window is displayed and browser does not show. After some time some networking activity happens, looks like backend is started and loads homepage, but splash window is still displayed. In Task Manager, Mozilla takes about 15megs of memory. Can be killed in Task Manager, computer restart does not help. Problem occured suddenly, before was Mozilla 0.9.3 working fine. Removing extra pliguns does not help, install into clean directory does not help (so it may be problem of config in prefs.js). Reinstalling previous Mozilla 0.9.2 HELPS :-) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla 2. splash screen remains on the desktop 3. Actual Results: Splash Screen Remains on the desktop, no browser window is displayed Expected Results: Open browser window
The problem is solved. It is regarded to user_pref("browser.cache.memory.enable", true); I have set it to true, Mozilla was workig. Then it somehow got stuck, line for entering URL was not accepting any new URL and instead going to that URL, it only refreshed current page. So I turned MEM CACHE OFF, closed Mozilla and the it did not start again. Changing PREFS.JS to true helped.
