Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131201030203 Steps to reproduce: Whenwe install Firefox onour computers in college it connects perfectly fine for the user the installed theapplication andbrowsed the Internet. The issue is when they log off and another user logs on Firefox cannot connect to the Internet any more. The tech guys have installed Chrome as an alternative as this does not happen. CHrome seems to pick up IE's proxy script every time while Firefox doesn't. If you reenter the proxy script address the issue is resolved but for students this is not an option. Idon't know the technicalities as to why this happens but as a web developer and lecturer, I like to use Firefox for XML and CSSdisplay as it differs between Chrome, IE and Firefox. This is only an issuefor students and not staff who would have more rightson the computers in the labs and their offices. Actual results: No connection to Internet Expected results: Connection to Internet
