Steps to reproduce:
Opened the Bookmarks sidebar or the Library window, entered search text for an existing bookmark
Actual results:
No search results were displayed
Expected results:
One or more search results should've been displayed

1) Try in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
2) Try with a clean profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
Does it work?
1) Safe mode didn't help the issue
2) Clean profile did help the issue
Perhaps my bookmarks have become corrupted somehow?

I should add that my bookmarks are synced with a Windows 8 machine - the search problem doesn't occur on that machine
