945297 - Shumway Performance (System Stutters and Hangs; Maybe Crashes?)

My currently installed version of Shumway is 0.7.810. 

I cannot tell when the problems first occurred but it has only been problematic fairly recently (a couple of weeks, maybe a few weeks).

With Shumway enabled, the browser occasionally hangs and stutters. 
-Some of those times, Windows Task Manager reports Firefox spikes to "13%" (100% single thread) CPU usage.
-Often the entire PC stutters and hangs during these times.
-(Could be unrelated) Had a number of Firefox crashes around that time. Significant increase. I used to have about none; this week I had about a half-dozen.

Have you tried running Firefox in safe mode?

This bug is quite old - apologies for not replying earlier.

Generally speaking, Shumway is still under heavy development, and problems are to be expected. That isn't particularly helpful when you encounter annoying issues that keep Shumway from being useful, but it is what it is for now.
