Steps to reproduce:
Edit > Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings
Add Account
Email Account > (Enter Name & Email Address) > Choose IMAP (port changes to 143), enter Incoming Server & user name, > Enter outgoing username, > accept existing account name.
Account creation summary appears:
All parameters entered appear correct.

Should have created IMAP folder. Upon restart, Seamonkey has created a POP folder instead
You need to provide crash id from about:crashes page

you could try starting in safe mode.
my guess is it will be one of the addons.
