From Peter's presentation: "When the keyboard is up, swipe can still be activated. Which makes dismissing the keyboard and still staying on the home screen VERY difficult."

Hi Patrick We're not sure what this actually means. Can you please give us steps to reproduce and elaborate on the problem?

I filed this bug as the combination of poor system performance, poor touch feedback on the inari, making it very difficult to dismiss the keyboard in the e.me experience without swiping back to the home screen. Every time I would tap in the content area to dismiss the keyboard the system would think I was trying to swipe back to the home screen. This doesn't seem to be an issue on today's (2013.12.09) Helix build so I don't know if its just isolated to Inari. My suggestion was to disable the swipe to homescreen gesture when the keyboard is up. But perhaps other people are not having the same problem as me.

Patryk (sorry I misspelled your name earlier :-/) - I agree that it's VERY difficult to close the keyboard when the screen is filled with content. But that would be the problem on every screen that has lots of content on it. If hiding the keyboard is an essential user story, it should be part of the keyboard (ie. dragging it to the bottom, or dismissing it with a button). Don't see how anything we can do would solve that issue. Besides - why would someone think of swiping across to dismiss the keyboard, which moves on a vertical axis?
Flags: needinfo?(padamczyk)
The issue I had was with x axis, I couldn't dismiss the keyboard and instead it was just swiping me back to homescreen but it seems to be have been fixed on the builds in the last few days. So I am going to close this bug.
