I don't speak Finnish, this was reported by a friend and confirmed by one of our Finnish developers. There's quite a number of places in the Finnish localization where we seem to use constructs that would be OK for "Firefox", but are grammatically incorrect for "Firefox Beta", for example: http://mxr.mozilla.org/l10n-mozilla-beta/source/fi/mobile/android/base/android_strings.dtd#156 http://mxr.mozilla.org/l10n-mozilla-beta/source/fi/mobile/android/base/android_strings.dtd#148 Firefoxista, but Firefox Betasta As a result, Firefox Beta apparently uses rather awkward language for a native speaker. Not sure if our i10n infra needs work to handle these kind of discrepancies between beta/release or if we can already do it?

Yes, this is well know. Nothing to be done about this. The translation is done for release versions, not for beta (or for aurora or for nightly). Having different product translations for different release channels for the product is not supported by the l10n infra and would anyways be wasted effort for everyone concerned.
