It is fantastic to see the Kurdish localization effort being resurrected! That being said, there are still too many missing strings in important areas, like metro. Considering that Kurdish was removed from public download due to inactivity, I need to see a more complete localization before approving a sign off and filing all of the necessary bugs to make the builds available again.

Hi Jeff.
I just saw that bug right now. Sorry for answering late.
After Mozilla Summit, I started to work hard for Kurdish Firefox. I am translating on mozilla.locamotion.org now. And I am spreading the word on Facebook (http://facebook.com/firefoxakurdi) and on my blog (http://firefoxakurdi.blogspot.com)
I hope Kurdish Firefox will be on public download soon. i am planing to print some brochures for Kurdish Firefox. I am waitnig to see Kurdish download link on http://mozilla.org/ku

And for Metro,
It seems metro is completed: http://mozilla.locamotion.org/ku/firefox/browser/metro/

Hi Amed, long time no see, welcome back :)

Will you commit on our repos (hg and svn) or will Dwayne from locamotion commit for you? I see you openned several bugs with files to commit on svn for mozilla.org, we can open a bug to get you commit rights on svn so as that you can send them yourself every time you do an update (we push mozilla.org updates to production every day) or you can wait for an export of locamotion to our repos. Any preference?

Hi Pascal. Yes, long time no see. Thanx :)

I think it will be better if I translate on locamotion for now. It looks more easy to localizate on locamotion. (Thanx to Dwayne :))
Maybe I can learn howto commit on repos later on.
After we get Firefox on mozilla.org/ku I will work hard to localizate Firefox OS (It will be first Kurdish smartphone operating system)

We're not shipping Kurdish (ku) anymore. We'll need to review the whole build in case someone picks up the existing translation.
