It only seems to affect the one loacated in c:/program
files/mozilla.org/mozilla. If i pre load the browser with a -turbo shorcut it
loads fine but when i go to double click on it to spawn a new window it shots a
small window up in the top left it has floor max and close as options and never
dose any thing. I have a latest build on my desk top 2001081003 in a bin folder
it runs fine spawns new windows quickly.

if u need more info ask
You start "mozilla -tubo" and then you try run "mozilla -turbo" again ?
or do you use the quickload from the bin directory on your desktop and then you
try to run the bin in c:/programfiles/mozilla.org/mozilla ?

Which build do you have in c:\programm..... ?

Is this correct :
You use the fastload from Build X and then you try to open Mozilla with Build Y
?

  Matthias

well if x build is orignal installed build in c:/program files/ and Y is bin on
my desktop then no i have never tried to open both at once. It happens when i
preload the X build and duouble click on the mozilla turbo loader icon.I am
going to try uninstalling the X build and replacing it with a New nightly build
sea.exe (i dont bother to compile :) ) more word on this after i am done

Can you still reproduce this using 0.9.4 or later?

Summary: It now seems mozilla refuses to spawn new windows but there is more... → [turbo] mozilla refuses to spawn new windows but there is more...
Whiteboard: reproducible?
I've seen weirdness with Mozilla in the past that is kind of like this. I think
it could be that the bug reporter has a screwed up Mozilla installation. It
might be a good idea to uninstall all of the Mozilla binaries from the system.
Remove what you can with add/remove programs, reboot, and then manually delete
all the Mozilla stuff except user profiles from c:\program files. Then, re-install.

You can save your bookmarks file to another directory if you want. If you can't
find the right one, do a find files for "bookmarks.html." Then, copy it to a
temp folder.

Download fresh binaries. Using the ZIP archives became too confusing for me,
with their unusual subdirectory structure. I'd suggest using the EXE versions of
0.9.4 and the latest nightly build. Once Mozilla is re-installed, see if the
problem still occurs.

To restore your bookmarks, close Mozilla. Find your saved copy of
bookmarks.html. Copy that file into your current user directory, overwriting if
necessary.

ability to reproduce this one.
