Details
When I choose to "save" a file its PDF icon is missing in Download Manager window. When I choose to "open" it the icon is not missing.
Unable to reproduce in

In September I landed Bug 900514 (Some minor tweaks to Drag and Drop in Downloads UI) but that should not have affected anything.
For me, on trunk the download manager shows icons for .pdf .zip. .bz2 .xml .exe .msi

Did you try starting SeaMonkey in safe-mode?
e.g. seamonkey.exe -safe-mode
Or if you are already running SeaMonkey:
Help -> Restart with Add-ons Disabled.

Yes. These icons appear on hover of individual downloaded files, but when I just open the downloads dialog the icons are missing.
