Clipped this from xpfe newsgroup From: Chris Nelson <chrisn@statecollege.com> 7/1/99 5:18 PM Subject: Animation Contest winner This message is for the person who is responsible for the throbber animation in the nightly builds: Below are URLs for the large and small animations of the animation contest winner, Klaus Malorny. I have also supplied first-frame GIFs for each, in case they are necessary. Is there anything else I need to supply at this time, or is this enough to get the animation into the nightly builds? --chris http://www.mozillazine.org/animations/anim12.gif http://www.mozillazine.org/animations/anim12_small.gif http://www.mozillazine.org/animations/anim12_single_frame.gif http://www.mozillazine.org/animations/anim12_small_single_frame.gif

Matt, re-assign this to Radha if your swamped.
I understand folks are busy but is there any way to squeeze this in for M8? It'd be a nice touch and it's about 45 sec. of work. If you update the naviogator.css file today you could just change the two lines.....pretty please. I <sniff> understand if you can't.

>:+{ This lapse does not aid my evangelical efforts!
I'll be sure to get this in first thing on monday.
Not integrated with the MICROSOFT WINDOWS 98 1999072010 build...
i added a patch to the navigator.css file. it assumes the gifs in the url above are named the same and are put in mozilla/webshell/tests/viewer/throbber

I've added the new thobber. Sorry for the delay
Were can i get the images for the viewer? Who would have them?
by no means am i the expert, but i'm pretty sure the image come from mozilla/webshell/tests/viewer/throbber the previous throbber in apprunner used the gifs located in that directory, which eventually end up in res/throbber. is that enough info?
i can verify that this is fixed across all platforms, but i'll leave that to the reporter... what do you say?
win32 apprunner has new throbber on 7/22/99 build. . thank you phillip@netscape.com. asa
