RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 882377

People

(Reporter: humb20, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (masking-agent; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131112160018

Steps to reproduce:

Access the menu on Firefox for Android.

Actual results:

Often "settings" is grayed out then appears with all addons. Other times there is no delay and all is OK. Most of the time "settings" appears immediately with no gray out, BUT nothing beyond "Settings" is shown. There is no scrolling and addons aren't visible. To access anything beyond "Settings" (e.g., Clean & Quit) you must either reboot or do a force stop, then addons return after a brief grayout.

Expected results:

Menu should open normally and show all addons. It doesn't matter if "settings" is grayed out as long as the addons are visible and usable.
Which device, version of Android and version of Firefox are you testing with? Do you have 'Don't Keep Activities' enabled in Android developer settings? This sounds like bug 882377
If settings is greyed out then Gecko core is not running. Thus we can't have addons or browse to a website.
User emailed me personally that they had that option enabled.
