Hi, Please can you register mozilla-jordan.org and point the NS record to ns368374.ovh.net ? Thanks
The domain is already owned by Mozilla. Domain Name:MOZILLA-JORDAN.ORG Created On:15-Jan-2011 07:30:03 UTC Last Updated On:23-Jul-2011 00:25:36 UTC Expiration Date:15-Jan-2014 07:30:03 UTC The nameservers however point somewhere else. @webops, can you please point them to ns368374.ovh.net? Perhaps we need a separate bug to renew it so it doesn't expire next month. Tad, can you do this please?
i have updated the mozilla-jordan.org domain to use ns368374.ovh.net. :dumitru - is there a secondary NS server we can use here? $ whois mozilla-jordan.org | grep -i "name server:n" Name Server:NS368374.OVH.NET
We have sdns1.ovh.net but that is pointless. Nobody adds anything to this DNS server, and if the the nameserver I provided goes down, then more than likely so will the web server
That Tad said :) Thanks!
Please Solve Domain Not linked :(
greetings people this domain is not linked to the ip address and for some reason. i tried to upload some files on it and for some reason i can't access it as it doesn't even exist can you please with this
Very odd, The whois reveals that the domain should be telling everyone that ns368374.ovh.net is the server, yet: tomfarrow:~ tad$ nslookup mozilla-jordan.org Server: 192.168.0.1 Address: 192.168.0.1#53 ** server can't find mozilla-jordan.org: NXDOMAIN Everything's setup right on our server, apparently though. tomfarrow:~ tad$ nslookup mozilla-jordan.org ns368374.ovh.net Server: ns368374.ovh.net Address: 18.104.22.168#53 Chris, could you take a look at this? I'm clueless here
Got it. Chris, please add sdns2.ovh.net as NS2 Apparently it's an enforced regulation that there must be 2 nameservers. http://www.iana.org/help/nameserver-requirements
i am having some issues adding this second name server to the domain and have opened a ticket with our registrar to get that sorted out. as soon as i have an update i will follow up in this bug.
the secondary name server has now been updated and everything now appears to be functioning as expected. $ dig +short ns mozilla-jordan.org sdns2.ovh.net. ns368374.ovh.net. $ curl -I mozilla-jordan.org HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Tue, 17 Dec 2013 00:11:07 GMT Server: Apache Last-Modified: Tue, 10 Dec 2013 17:48:22 GMT ETag: "29605d9-639-4ed31b7f04580" Accept-Ranges: bytes Content-Length: 1593 X-Powered-By: PleskLin Connection: close Content-Type: text/html
