Holly will close the last tab with Ctrl+W, too. Why should Australis be differ?

Perhaps it is a dupe, not sure. Turns out, on Windows, Ctrl-W closes explorer.exe, but not Notepad. This behavior is new to me and, as far as I can establish, the key combo is not documented in the explorer UI anywhere. So the questions becomes, is Firefox doing the correct thing when Ctrl-W is triggered on the platform it is running on? I notice that the OP in the dupe report is on linux?

Although the reporter were using Linux, the platform of bug 456405 is All/All.
Let me ask this then, does Firefox subscribe to the principle of least surprise?
