In bug 945390 I added a class BuildLocation which can serve as a starting point for a unified means of determining download urls for builds by buildid, date, revision. It could be reused by anyone that needs to download builds. It still needs to be generalized for other products and platforms than fennec on Android, but I don't think that will be too much effort. No interest in this enhancement -> wontfix.
