Any build. Now using 2001081106
I like to show my emails by date, newest on top, and after compacting the
folders this gets lost and puts the default, which is view messages by date,
newest on bottom. Very annoying

Steps to reproduce:
-Make the folder show emails by date, newest on top
-Compact the folders

Folder should not forget this layout after compacting
Same with 9.3 and sort by thread
reassigning to naving and cc'ing bienvenu.  I think this may have been fixed,
but I'm not sure.
