We turned this on in bug 917071 .
Overall it is a good thing, preventing us from deleting things accidentally.

In bug 917173, we want to remove the aurora branch from gecko.git; we stopped using the aurora/beta/etc. names in favor of b2g version number names.
Hopefully removing this no-longer-updated branch will help reduce confusion.
However, we can't remove this branch until we remove the denyDeletes option.

Can you

a) let us know when you can do this, so we limit the window that denyDeletes is off
b) remove the denyDeletes option on an agreed upon time
c) let me delete the aurora branch (or you can do this on the server via |git branch -D aurora|)
d) re-enable the denyDeletes option afterward
