Maybe this word art can be used to layer over the existing tab.png image in the tabzilla folder

Looks slightly better than previous at same height. Here's a screenshot comparing both the images ?

According to http://caniuse.com/srcset - srcset support for responsive images is coming to a lot of browsers very soon. Tracking bug for FF is bug #1018389.

I just spent some time to use this for https://location.services.mozilla.com (not yet in production) and now the tabzilla image looks rather sad :)

My apologies for taking so long to reply to this. The tabzilla tab will be getting updated soon I think we'll address the high-res version along with those changes. Thanks for the contribution.
