Details

1) Create a bunch on folders below your IMAP inbox 2) Try to create a filter that moves the message to one of these subfolders In fact none of the hierarchy below Inbox is display (no +). Other folders show up OK.
Subfolders of inbox on IMAP are not widely supported, I can't even create any. Are you referring to subfolders of INBOX or top level folders under the account level? What kind of IMAP server are you using? Related bug 70340.
