If the </td> immediately follows the &nbsp; then it does. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. look at rendered page Actual Results: the &nbsp; cell was "flattened" to a minimal cell Expected Results: the &nbsp; cell should be 1 text character high
