User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131209204824

Steps to reproduce:

-Open two or more tabs
-Reload current tab with F5 (Does not happen when clicking on reload button with mouse)
-Attempt to switch tab with mouse click during first few instants while the current tab is reloading

Windows 8.1, Firefox 27 Beta.

Actual results:

Mouse click is ineffective. The current tab is not changed. This seems to only happen with a mouse click, ctrl+tab works fine.

Expected results:

The tab should change.

Actually, it seems that any keyboard input "stalls" mouse clicks shortly after the keyboard input. For example, pressing the space bar on a website causes mouse clicks shortly thereafter to not register (apparently?) anywhere on firefox (be it firefox or website elements). This seems to happen with any keypress
Hi Omar,

I have tested your issue on the latest Firefox release(43.0.4) and the latest Nightly(46.0a1) and was unable to reproduce your issue. I opened a Firefox instance, clicked the address bar and held the space bar, while doing this I clicked on new tab, the new tab opened and it began typing in the address bar. I also tried the original steps to reproduce(comment 0).

Could you please try to reproduce this issue on the latest release(43.0.4) and the latest Nightly ( and provide the results? When doing this, please try to reproduce with a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even in safe mode, as some of this issues may be caused by third party installed add-ons or custom settings(
