Original post at bug 912697 comment 24 but split out here.  Summary:

There is a newsletter checkbox at https://marketplace.firefox.com/developers/submit/ .  We'd like to pass the current display language code through to exact target in the LANGUAGE_ISO2 field.  Back when we had https://github.com/mozilla/zamboni/commit/3090dcf#diff-77828dea0635e8e05dcf92c9ea3bf28eR230 we already had that, but it seems we've done some consolidation since and it wasn't carried over.
Allen, what's the status of this? Wil, is this actually a P1?
Apparently not. :)  But it seems quick, we should do it.

on https://marketplace.firefox.com/developers/submit/ terms of service page, check the newsletter subscription box and verify that it sends the email using the language used to visit the submit page.
