STR:
1) In a new profile, start a large enough download that it won't complete before you have time to change some stuff in Options. Alternatively, pause the download once it starts.
2) Open Firefox's Options dialog, and under the General pane, choose to save to the root of another drive.
3) Resume the download that may have been paused in #1.
4) Start a new download - this one can be shorter.
ER:
The file downloaded in (4) should go to the root of the drive set in (2).
AR:
The file goes to the old location - at least for me, that was the Windows "Downloads" folder.
This seems to affect Nightly (29). I haven't tested this on other versions.
The original reporter also said that Firefox 26 behaves slightly differently under the same conditions - the file downloaded in (4) does go to the right location, but before it can, the dialog to choose where the file should be saved comes up.

The original reporter has followed up by saying they were mistaken about the behaviour on Firefox 26 - they are unable to reproduce the problem there.

hrm, I can't reproduce this, even with a nightly from around the time this was reported. I tried on both Linux and Windows. Mike, does this reproduce for you these days?
