User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131205075310 Steps to reproduce: It's very hard to reproduce but happened already a few times. I opened a new tab, typed in a keyword or a link and switched back to my earlier tab. Then in both tabs the new content appears. Happened to me since version 26 Actual results: See above Expected results: Only affect new tab, not the one where I don't do anything
Hi Matt, I have tested your issue on the latest Firefox release(43.0.4) and the latest Nightly(46.0a1) and all information written in the address bar did not transfer to the new tab. Please note that if you type in the Search bar the information will be passed to all the opened tabs. User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 20160105164030 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0 Build ID: 20160106030225 Could you please try to reproduce this on the latest release(43.0.4) and the latest Nightly (https://nightly.mozilla.org/). When doing this, please try to reproduce with a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even in safe mode, as some of this issues may be caused by third party installed add-ons or custom settings(https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems). Thanks, Cipri
