I'm not sure what options are available, but I suspect basically any configuration will be workable. The biggest requirement is that I can access the arm boards that are sitting in my basement. I can probably figure out how to get a vpn set up to that subnet, but otherwise, I can just forward a bunch of ssh ports to the outside world.

Naveed, Marty says he is working with you on this - should we put you down as the owner of this VM within Mozilla? Marty, still working out where this will live and if the community vpn will work for the access you need.
