Initial Questions: Project/Feature Name: Add AV to Vancouver Conf Rooms: Sharp's Audio Visual $255,275.75 Tracking ID: Description: The IT team has reviewed existing AV equipment in the Vancouver office conference rooms and confirmed that they do not meet Mozilla's AV standards. Several bids were procured and vendors interviewed by our internal team and by our preferred local AV vendor (AVDG); of these, Sharp's Audio Visual has been chosen to do the work. The proposal is attached. This work should be included in the 150 Facilities budget; all items will be shipped to the Vancouver office. We do not have a schedule for the work yet but estimate completion in Q1 2014. Additional Information: Key Initiative: Corp Support Release Date: 12/18/2013 Project Status: launched Mozilla Data: No Mozilla Related: Separate Party: Yes Type of Relationship: Vendor/Services Data Access: No Privacy Policy: Vendor Cost: > $25,000

Tim, I'd like to have a walk through of the vancouver video plans to understand what rooms are being instrumented with what. I also want to understand how the Commons room will be setup (aka like the one in Toronto or the new MTV office space??). This may impact the above quote if we need to make changes to the room specs.

Hi Sylvie - I noted on the project kick-off form (see "Initial Questions" section above) that this work should be included in the 150 Facilities budget; this is my understanding from both Melissa and Rob. Let me know if it should be included in the IT budget or if you have questions, thanks.
To clarify, the AV vendor will be in 150, but the Vidyo equipment and compu (mac mini etc) would fall under IT. I believe that is what you were saying correct Sylvie?
Side note to Accounting: the Vidyo equipment Rob/Sylvie are talking about is not included in this p.o. request (will be handled by IT separately), thanks.
(In reply to Rob Middleton from comment #5) > To clarify, the AV vendor will be in 150, but the Vidyo equipment and compu > (mac mini etc) would fall under IT. I believe that is what you were saying > correct Sylvie? The AV services and hardware to bring to AV standards are all under WPR per discussions in January. Tim, please review the AV agreement and the bug for the hardware so we can close on what we are buying and getting servicing.
Albert, Melissa - please discuss a hand-off on this.
