When user chooses to stop an import of Contacts from Gmail or Hotmail within Contacts App Settings, the user is forced to restart or power off device or select the homescreen button to regain functionality

Repro Steps:
1) Update a buri to 1.3 BuildID: 20131218004002
2) Tap Contacts App
3) Tap gear icon in upper right
4) Tap import Contacts button
5) While import is in progress, tap Cancel button
6) While on Import Contacts page, select the '<' sign in upper left

Actual:
Device becomes non-responsive. Selecting any onscreen button or icon does not work. The only buttons responsive are the homescreen button and the power button to restart or power off device

Expected:
User taken to the Contacts Setting page

This issue does not reproduce on the latest 1.2 Buri build. The device is responsive. The '<' icon is responsive to take user to the appropriate screen on device.

I've found on some builds you need to select the "cancel" prompt two times instead of just one, but when this bug just started to show up (9/25) it is 100% repro the first time selecting "cancel".

ni gbennett@qanalydocs.com to check if there is any step or information missing, or if can check with newer builds. With the str given cannot reproduce this issue with latest v1.3 build (01/07):
Gecko-118cfbe
Gaia-ff5f06d
Thanks

I was able to reproduce this issue on the Buri 1.3 Build ID: 20140107004001

Gaia ff5f06dd321f7d2bf4a5b311ded2c56e865d4f83
SourceStamp 71ad7ff30010
BuildID 20140107004001
Version 28.0a2

STR:

1.Launch Contacts App.
2.Tap on Gear Icon.
3.Select Import Contacts.
4.Select Gmail, then sign in.
5.While contacts are loading, tap the cancel button.

Actual: Contacts app become non-responsive.

Thanks Sara, it is when the contacts are being loaded not imported. I was cancelling the importation of contacts as per the str on comment 0.

Cancelling when the contacts are being loaded I was also able to reproduce the issue, but after several tries and tapping several times on 'Cancel' button.
Looks to me like another problem with our friend the navigation object.

Will take a look.

Hi,

after a while, I've realised this is a duplicate of bug 936250 that is already uplift to v1.3.
