security warning and popup warning at the same time cause latter to be unclickable
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 Iceweasel/28.0a2 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131215004001 Steps to reproduce: If one ever gets these two warnings at the same time, clicking "Continue" will also wipe out the bar that is asking what to do about the popup. Actual results: (Please don't ask me how to reproduce this.) Expected results: The popup question should remain.
I was not able to get the popup and Security Warning on the same page but did get does on two different tabs, hitting continue on Security Warning did not close the popup tho. For popups I used this link: http://popuptest.com/popuptest1.html For Security Warning I used this steps from mozilla support post: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/964250#answer-457373 Also a little window with a popup is thrown when the popup message appears in the URL bar just near the star for bookmarking the page. Hitting that will bring up the same actions just like Preferences from popup bar. Does this work for you?
Yes, you need to encounter both on the same page in order to reproduce the bug. (Whatever website I was using that caused the bug does not exist anymore.)
Do you have a new example to reproduce?
(In reply to Wayne Mery (:wsmwk, NI for questions) from comment #6) > Do you have a new example to reproduce? I'm sorry but in Comment 0: > (Please don't ask me how to reproduce this.)
Thanks for the update. I understand it was difficult to reproduce. But given that you haven't seen it in recent years let's say WFM
