Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 Iceweasel/26.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131215090532
Steps to reproduce:
Try to take a picture in the dark
Actual results:
The flash will automatically be enabled
Expected results:
A setting would be available somewhere for disabling this feature.
For example in a concert, you don't want the flash enabled by default.

What device is this happening on? Do you see a flash mode icon on the screen? If so, is the flash still firing even when the flash mode icon is set to Off?

On geeksphone peak with 1.2 from last week. Yes, I see the icon and no if I disable it, it doesn't fire the flash.
But the point is that it is really painful to disable it by hands and you don't think about it.

Just to be sure: what you want is for the setting to persist across Camera app sessions?

I'm not really sure to understand what you are saying (especially for the « sessions » part) but yes I want the setting to be persistent.
For example a global setting somewhere in the « Settings » to unable or disable « automatic flash in the dark ».

Diego, are we planning to do something like that for 1.4?
