I'm writing an add-on which puts a button in the Australis toolbar, but sadly my button is all fuzzy and stuff on my Retina MacBook Pro. As a workaround, I've written a function (as seen in the url field) which takes an imagename, and outputs some html to draw that image with a media query to handle the double-density case, but that seems really annoying to have to do all the time, and several #jetpackians suggested that supporting double-resolution Widget contentURL images is something that should be builtin, so I'm filing this bug. :)

i told Blake to file this bug before remembering that Widget is getting deprecated (bug 936623). then i wanted to edit it to say "support hi-res icons for the new australis Button api", before finding out that it already does (bug 787392).
