I didn't yet port the Credits page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/developers/docs/sdk/latest/dev-guide/credits.html to MDN because I'm not sure it belongs there. We should decide where it should live and how it should be maintained.

Firefox has a top-level AUTHORS file: http://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/file/321532cf56f8/AUTHORS

Maybe something like that in the addon-sdk/ folder?
I agree that this doesn't belong on MDN. I think it should be in the source (.txt file?) and ideally we have some workflow so that contributions to the SDK are included as contributions to Firefox itself ( this is beyond the scope of this bug though... )

Consensus seems to be forming around Irakli's idea.

Can we wontfix this? it's too much work to figure out what to do with it, and github is working for us already..

My preference would be to link from MDN to the contributors file on gh, as suggested by Irakli in comment 3.

I'm not sure where in MDN we should link to https://github.com/mozilla/addon-sdk/graphs/contributors but I think linking to the repo in all of the places that we do is good enough, because the contributors can easily be discovered as they normally are on github.

Feel free to add a link to MDN though.
