I downloaded 0.9.3 on Redhat 7.0 and downloaded the netscape 6 java-plugin when it was offered (needed) by the browser. The installation went OK. But most of the time the browser gets unresponsive when loading a page with Java applet. Sometimes it even crashes and sends back talkback information. Sometimes the first applet loads ok, but when I go to the next page, the browser stops then. I reinstalled to Redhat 7.1 and I downloaded java 1.3.1 from Sun, and tried the new plugin, but the result is the same. The animated M sign stops, I can 'kill mozilla-bin', but then the java_vm process hangs with 100 % CPU load, which I can kill also. This wasn't the case with 0.9.2, it worked OK.The only work-around I found is to disable java by deleting the oji-plugin from the mozilla directory, then 0.9.3 works OK, but without Java.
