From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 2001080110 Two new windows opened from intranet to seperate links, second window shows content of the first opened window. The intranet was set up to open external links in a new window. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. click on link to http://www.domainbox.de/ (window 1) 2. wait until window 1 contents mostly/fully loaded (not sure if needed) 3. click on link to http://www.suse.com/ (window 2) Actual Results: window 1 showed the correct contents (http://www.domainbox.de/) window 2 showed the contents of window 1 (http://www.domainbox.de/) Expected Results: window 1 was supposed to show http://www.domainbox.de/ window 2 was supposed to show http://www.suse.com/ I managed to repeat this twice, using a different URL, since then I couldn't reproduce the problem. I did not use the back and forward buttons as far as I know. I did switch between open browser windows. Windows 98 SE Mozilla 0.93 going through Proxy Server (www.analogx.com) and firewall (ZoneAlarm)
email from reporter (in the future please report directly to the bug, there's a link at the top of this notice. my inbox is a nightmare and your comments are likely to be lost there.) ----------------------------------- Hi there I reported a Mozilla bug (id:95288) recently which was about showing the wrong contents in a window. A few days after reporting the bug, Internet Explorer suddenly started the same thing, which means, that it cannot be a Mozilla bug. I use Internet Erxplorer, Netscape and Mozilla for website development on a daily basis. This means that you can scratch the bug off your list. Bernhard Ernst ----------------------------------- Thanks Bernhardt. I'm going to Resolve this bug as WORKSFORME based on your comments. In the future feel free to do this yourseld. (look for the option under the comment box).
