User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130917102605 Steps to reproduce: This happened some weeks ago and I didn't have the time to send in a bug report then, so I might not be 100% accurate here. I removed the battery in my Geeksphone Peak – which runs Boot2Gecko 1.1.1.0hd-GP – to insert a new SIM-card and I started up the phone again. Actual results: I observed that I couldn't access the Marketplace anymore. It gave me the "this connection is untrusted" error message (a screenshot http://mzl.la/MejhsC is here). The Wikipedia application also refused to work, but the web browser did function. After a while I figured out that the temporary removal of the battery had let to the date being reset. After correcting the date everything was fine again. Expected results: At startup FFOS should have prompted me to input the date and time again. Even better, it should just contact an NTP server to synchronize the time automatically and not bother me.
Was the date and time not set via the SIM card? I know that the time and date resets with and without a SIM card but not in this scenario. Are you able to still reproduce this issue?
No, just a moment ago I shut down the phone, removed the battery, placed the battery back and turned on the phone again, but it remembered the time and date. Marking this as RESOLVED WORKSFORME.
