There is a question on StackOverflow about controlling the size of images taken from the camera during a pick activity.  The gallery pick activity shows a crop editor, but the camera does not.  It seems like it would be useful to provide feature parity here whether the image is being selected from the gallery or being taken new.

This could be related to bug 863509, but that seems to be adding the crop into homescreen after taking a picture.

It could also be related to bug 921079, but that seems more about showing the preview accurately in the camera viewfinder.
Old bug, but a useful idea. CCing potentially interested people.
