In Mac OS X 10.5, pressing Command-W while the Buddy List is the active does not close the window. Instead, it makes a dinging noise that signifies that the command cannot be used. I expected Command-W to close the Buddy List window just like any other window.

This issue continues to occur in 0.1.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.2.

I hope it's fine if I update this bug with a similiar problem and for other systems:

On Windows (XP SP3), CTRL+W does the same, but does't close the buddy list either.

(Additionally some other windows are also affected:

Windows that can be closed:
Conversation window, addon manager, account manager, error console

Windows that can not be closed:
Buddy list, Message style, Smilies)

Mass-change: Reassigning to nobody all the bugs in the NEW or UNCONFIRMED status where I'm the assignee because I used to be the default assignee of the component.
