I installed the new version of instantbird 0.2b2 ans when somebody write me a message a window open with the name of my friend but i don't see any text and if I write something ans I do enter I don't see the text either.

Thanks for your interest in Instantbird! In order to help you with your problem, we'll need more information what's going on:

"I installed the new version of instantbird 0.2b2" -> does this mean you've used Instantbird with an earlier version or nightly build and it's been working until you updated?

"but i don't see any text and if I write something ans I do enter I don't see the text either" -> does the name of your friend appear on the tab only or is there a colored name in the conversation box but no text following it? In this case click into the conversation area and press CTRL-A to select all. If it's just white text on white background, it should become readable now.

If this is the case then here's how to change the text color in conversations: go to the Options dialog (accessible from the Tools menu). Check if on the "Content" page of the dialog, the font color is set to white. If that's the case set another color. After that click the "Advanced..." button and uncheck "Use system settings" (this setting overrides user colors at the moment, we'll rework this part soon to make it work more intuitively) to make sure that Instantbird is not using a White system font instead of the color you chose.

If this doesn't help, don't hesitate to write here and supply some more information (e.g. if it occurs which a certain instant messaging service only (that is for example MSN or ICQ or GoogleTalk..)).

I tried what you ask and it doesn't work. When somebody write me I didn't see anything in the window but if I do show log i saw what the person wrote me. I just tried MSN but it's never work with MSN.

ok, thanks for trying this. Here are some more questions:
Are you using the default theme for the application or maybe a custom one like Stratini?
Are you using a message theme extension or emoticon extension?

I didn't fix the problem. I try to re-install instantbird (whitout uninstall)and it,s does not work. I don't want to de-install it because i don't want to lose my buddy list. I don't know if we can't save it and uninstall and reinstall it.

All information like account setup and similiar things are stored in the profile folder (On Windows this is located in the "Application Data" folder) and will be uneffected by an uninstall unless you explicitly chose to remove it.

Now here's some question again: 
* Have you installed any extensions? If yes, which ones? (Important: this even includes themes for Instantbird, message styles, emoticon themes ... just anything you downloaded for Instantbird or installed from Addon-Manager).
* Can you attach a screenshot what the problem looks like?

I tried to uninstall it but I uninstall a theme (stratini) and now it work fine. Thanks for the help you give me.

Uninstalling the "Stratini" theme fixed this bug. Setting to RESOLVED FIXED.

Note: the actual issue is not caused by a problem in the Stratini theme, but is bug 953818 (bio 375) which is fixed in current nightly builds of Instantbird, and will be fixed in the next release.
