Is there any way to force Instantbird NOT to use emoticons in URL addresses? My guess is that if it does know when to convert the string into clickable address, it can also deny displaying any emots as long as they present in the address. Currently, it looks like in the attachment for smileys :/ :D

Thanks for reporting but there's already one about this problem (bug 953653 (bio 207)).
