Seems to be some miscommunication between the buddy list and conversation status, unless its supposed to be that way, in which case this can be ignored.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a conversation (on AIM, not sure about other networks) of a friend who is "mobile."
2. Wait for them to become "available".

Actual Result:
The buddy list status updates to "available," the conversations status stays at "mobile."

Expect Result:
The buddy list and conversation maintain the same status ("mobile" then "available").

(This can also be done in the opposite way, talking to a buddy who is "available" and then goes "mobile.")

Both circle shows the same buddy, but they have different statuses, the conversation is "mobile" while the buddy list shows "available". The buddy was originally "mobile" when I opened the IM window.

The update in the buddy list and not the conversation probably means that the update-buddy-status notification is not fired in the conversation for some reason.

This will be very hard for me to reproduce/debug/test because I've no contact who ever has a "mobile" status (this feature is almost non existant in Europe).

Can this still be reproduced in nightly builds that have the new JS buddy list?

I'm working to try this, I don't have many people that use the "mobile" status either. Maybe I'll see if I can get one of them to try it?

I'm actually able to test this now too since if you sign into AIM TXT it sets you as mobile. http://m.aol.com/portal/aim.do?carrierid=999&tab=aim

This at some point was fixed (maybe it was a libpurple issue that was fixed by upgrading or via some rewrite of the notification handling, I don't know), but it's working for me now.
