*** Original post on bio 439 by deOmega <jahkae AT gmail.com> at 2010-07-07 18:34:00 UTC *** Would like to see the option of seeing 'close' button on hovering over a tab. Currently, one has to select the tab in order to to see the 'close' icon, or right-click on it. A hover option would be most convenient.
*** Original post on bio 439 at 2011-01-17 14:31:23 UTC *** There's an enhancement request on Mozilla's bug tracker to add this on tabs in general. See > https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404909 I'm not sure if that would that affect us since we forked the tabbrowser?

I am sorry > I did not update, but either case, this is no longer an issue. Thank you. There's no change that adds this functionality. Do you maybe mean that close buttons are shown on each tab now, no matter if active or not (even without hovering the tab)?

No. If not the active tab, then no close button.. however, hovering over it reveals a close button, which was my initial request. So the current setting suits me perfectly. I really do not know when the change occurred.

I'm asking because it with the same setting it shows the close icon of inactive tabs only on hover, while the default theme would show them always. This could be a possible explanation.

*** Original post on bio 439 at 2012-02-13 20:00:14 UTC *** I think this is standardized behaviour that is and should be inherited from mozilla. The bug report was also possibly resolved as per comment #6.
