At least for MSn and Google Talk, when you click on the greyed "next" button (forgetting to enter a username), the textarea becomes smaller. It is very strange. i don't know for sure if this also happen on Linux and/or mac.

Does this still happen?
I can't reproduce it with current nightlies (2011-05-04) on Windows 7 (and on Windows Vista neither).

I'm seeing a similar bug on the "Advanced Options" page. Happens with IRC, AIM (I guess all?)

STR: Focus one of the fields and use the left and right arrow keys to move the text cursor. For left it breaks, while right restores the full width.
