Logs are being successfully created on my computer, which is evident by accessing the  log file... however, they are not accessible through instant bird log reader interface.

version 0.3a1pre (20101103041722)

I fixed this yesterday in bug 954002 (bio 566) (unfortunately there was no Windows nightly today so you can't have a build with the fix yet).

ah, thank you.  I checked for  update before I reported, but it has been happening for a  few builds it seems.  Thank you for the fix.
