When in a group chat (using Jabber) a list of participants is shown down the side of the window. Double-clicking on a participant's name opens a new conversation window, but it is not directed to the participant correctly. Messages sent to the other participant are not received.
The only way to chat to a participant is to go to the Buddy list and start a conversation with the user from there, however, apart from being inconvenient, not all members of a chat are necessarily buddies.

Are there any errors in the error console (Tools > Error Console) when this occurs? Does this always happen?

Hi, Patrick.
No, there are no errors reported
Yes, this seems to happen always.
I'll attach a screenshot that exemplifies this.
