*** Original post on bio 992 at 2011-08-26 09:57:00 UTC *** Given that bug 954183 (bio 749) is now fixed (thanks!!) it no longer seems necessary to have a minimize button on the Contacts window, as it is confusing to have the Contacts window minimized to the taskbar *and* to the tray at the same time. In fact it is more than confusing, as when the Contacts window is minimized, clicking on the tray icon currently hides/restores a minimized-to-taskbar window, which is a bit weird.
*** Original post on bio 992 at 2011-08-26 10:24:48 UTC *** There are many valid behaviors: "Close to tray", "Minimize to tray", plus supporting both of the those; also if you disable the tray icon: you very well might want to minimize the window. Perhaps you want to check off the option to minimize to tray when both closing and minimizing?

*** Original post on bio 992 at 2011-08-26 10:34:32 UTC *** It doesn't bother me personally as it's always clear what's going on (Bug 954302 (bio 869) is more annoying as it is strangely intermittent). But people get confused by these things...
